Espiritu

“Espiritu” is the Adams 44 of two brilliant dutch guys, Kees and Erwin, who where anchored next to us in Mindelo. We had an excellent time with them, mostly partying, but also doing other things, like fixing our outboard engine together (until the problem was solved, they have been our official free water taxi!). They actually sailed from Holland all the way to Cap Vert, and then crossed to Brazil. They are now going down the Brazilian coast, as we can see in their blog: http://www.gewoonzeilen.nl/

It’s always a pleasure to meet young sailors (among so many retired ones!), but Kees and Erwin, along with their many friends, are really the kind of people we would be happy to meet again in some other anchorage, sooner  or later!
