In the beginning of July we sat sail from Sines, Portugal, to Madeira. After a few days stopover at Funchal, we headed to Canary Islands. La Graciosa, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Gran Canarias y Tenerife have been the islands we visited until now. We met a lot of nice people and a bounch of interesting projects, like the Clean Ocean Project in Corralejo, and the “Proyecto Tortuga” at Morro Jable.
Even if we are absolutely happy in the Canaries, where we feel like at home and the harbors are cheap, we intend to reach Cabo Verde by the end of October, to avoid any temptation to remain here for too long… as life in the Canaries is very comfortable, but not so different from living in $Pain. That’s why our general feeling is that the real voyage is about to start now…
